The Portex 16 offers extremely compact, highly efficient portable site dust extraction applications. We have combined our 25 years experience within the corrosion industry and the requirements and thoughts of professional site contractors to arrive at the Portex 16.

The feedback we are receiving from contractors is that this is the site dust collector they have been waiting for. It combines its light weight (1500kg) and compact size, quiet operation with the punch of 10,000 cfm. It can be transported on a transit pickup and be offloaded with a forklift or crane.

“The Barrier Group have worked with MJ Services since 2007. Their service has been of top priority to us, as we have tight deadlines to meet, and we’ve never been let down. With their own range of grit recovery systems and extraction, they have moved into a new league, and are responsive to the bespoke requirements we demand for this type of plant”.
Robert Bowles, Chairman, Barrier Group

It has been rigorously field tested and has operated successfully, extracting from tank and encapsulated bridges. The results were excellent, where it gives superb visibility and recirculation.

The Portex 16 requires only a 32 amp supply to run its 2 x 7.5kw motors and an air supply to operate its reverse pulse jet cartridge cleaning operation. The 20” air inlet is set at an easy accessible working height. Please contact us for further details or a comprehensive specification on the Portex 16.

We also have an extensive stock of corrosion control equipment ready for immediate delivery.
